Current-as-yesterday topical references and annoying woolgathering abound, and even with a shortage of "production pieces" due to time wasted preparing the Sport Special, we trust this show will be every bit as annoying as you've come to expect. And we're back. Hope the holidays were good to you and hope 2020 is even better. Wish I could claim that I'm refreshed after our "Buckaroo Hiatus," but illness has its own schedule. Been kinda struggling through the recent weeks. Be that as it may, here goes this one. Enjoy.

Not a "Christmas Show" but nevertheless a Christmas show... this one required several revisions, for several unrelated reasons, which delayed it slightly. But here 'tis, my small gift to you as 2019 sputters to a stop. Here we go again! Between celebrating my birthday and various kinds of family gathering-type stuff, we were pressed for time, but hope this fourth offering is up to the high standard you expect from us here at "BH."
Many, many people are saying that we've really distilled the essence of Thanksgiving herein, and we couldn't agree more, seeing as how "we" are in fact those very "many, many people" and in fact are essentially "me" when you come right down to it.
So come right down and join "us" for a spell.

Posted a little bit sooner than the announced two-week schedule, on account of we're rebels and shit. And 10/23/2019 happens to be the 70th birthday of Nick Tosches. He didn't quite get there, but we here in this vale of tears, left to contend with whatever's left, must. So I'll post this a day or two early as a kind of kiss blown voidward, ad hoc as it is, and I hope, dear ones, that you enjoy the music and bullshit contained herein. My First Rodeo

Welcome to "Buckaroo Holiday," an audio appendage of School Yard Gents, Bay Shore New York, and this, our cherry cherry podcast. I think it's customary to provide a synopsis of the program here, or a list of selections. Eh. When I used to release albums I didn't include lyrics because I didn't want anyone "reading ahead," rather just experiencing it real time. So that's how I'll do it with this too. First attempt... "coltish" perhaps, but oh the promise!! It's about an hour, it's mostly stupid shit, some nice songs I think. But watch it evolve. Who can tell what the future may hold? Hope you enjoy. It'll be every two weeks I figure, but maybe a short one inbetween or summat. Dunno. But every two weeks is my attempted discipline. Y'all come back now, hear? Tell your friends! Any questions?
